How your referral link works
Once you're approved you get a referral code — a short slug you choose. Your link is that code on the end of any OneFront address:

What happens after someone clicks
- The click is remembered for 30 days. We set a first-party cookie on their device. They don't have to sign up in that session — they can come back any time in that month and you still get credit.
- First touch wins, inside that window. If someone arrives through your link and then through another partner's before signing up, the credit stays yours — a live referral is never overwritten. If the 30 days pass with no signup, the window closes and a later partner's click can earn instead.
- Attribution locks at signup. The moment they create an account, the referral is attached to them permanently. Checkout re-checks as a backstop in case the cookie arrived late.
- You earn when they upgrade. Every paid Pro invoice for the next 12 months records a commission for you automatically.
Why first touch, not last? Most programs credit the last link clicked, which lets coupon extensions and deal sites drop a cookie at checkout and take the commission for demand someone else created. Crediting the first touch makes that impossible — if you're the one who introduced someone to OneFront, nobody can step in front of you at the end. The window is deliberately short so a stale click can't block a partner who genuinely earns the conversion later.

You get a partner dashboard showing clicks, signups, paid conversions, and earnings — updated continuously, so you can tell which links and which audiences actually convert rather than guessing.
The fine print, up front
- Only Pro subscriptions earn. Free signups and one-time Featured Link purchases don't pay commission — worth knowing before you plan your promotion.
- Refunds are clawed back. If a subscriber refunds or disputes a charge, that commission is voided.
- You can't refer yourself. Self-referrals are blocked in code, not just by policy.
- Payouts are monthly and manual while the program is small. You set your payout details in the dashboard; we send it and record it against your account.
- No paid search on our brand, no coupon or deal sites, no “official Linktree replacement” claims, and no automated signups.
