How do I set up my OneFront profile?

Updated July 20, 2026

The short answer

To set up your OneFront profile, open the Profile tab in your dashboard and fill in three things: your display name (how you want to be known), a one-line tagline (what you do), and a short bio (a sentence or two of context). OneFront puts these into the visible page and into the page's structured data, so both a human and an AI assistant reading your page get the same clear description of who you are.

Your profile is the part of your page that answers "who is this?" — for a human skimming on their phone and for an AI assistant reading the page's underlying data. Getting it clear once means everyone who lands on your page, or asks a tool about you, gets the same accurate picture.

Why this matters

Most link-in-bio pages treat the bio as decoration. On OneFront, your display name, tagline, and bio are written into the page's structured data as well as the visible page, so they double as the machine-readable description of who you are. Vague or empty fields leave AI tools guessing; a clear tagline and bio give them something specific to quote.

An example

A freelance consultant might use:

  • Display name: Dana Ruiz
  • Tagline: Fractional CFO for seed-stage SaaS
  • Bio: I help early-stage founders set up financial models, hiring plans, and investor reporting before they need a full-time finance hire.

That's enough for a person to understand the offer in two seconds — and enough for an AI assistant to describe Dana accurately when someone asks who to talk to about startup finance.

How to set up your profile, step by step

  1. 1Open the Profile tab. In your dashboard, go to Profile — this is where your name, tagline, and bio live.
  2. 2Set your display name. Enter the name you want shown at the top of your page. This is separate from your username (the URL).
  3. 3Write a one-line tagline. Add a short tagline that says what you do — e.g. 'Brand designer for early-stage startups.' Keep it under ~10 words.
  4. 4Add a short bio. Write one or two sentences of context. This becomes a longer description AI answer engines can quote directly.
  5. 5Save. Save your changes — they appear on your public page and in its structured data immediately.

Frequently asked

What's the difference between my tagline and bio?
The tagline is a short one-liner shown prominently; the bio is a slightly longer summary. OneFront maps the tagline to the page's schema.org description and the bio to a longer disambiguating description.
Can I change my profile later?
Yes — you can edit your display name, tagline, and bio any time from the Profile tab. Your username (the URL) is the one part meant to stay stable.

One clean page for you and your agents — real links, readable by people and AI alike.
